I heard it was a really good book in terms of spirituality. Anyone read it?

Um, in once sense it is, it's good for like a young person, who has no exposure to Eastern thought to read, to get a feel of what Tao is. On the other hand, it's really watered down, and I'd imagine any real practiconer of Tao to be insulted by the book ( unless taking offense to having your intelligence and spirituality insulted is far beneath the Taoist, which it probably is.

Want to give me the run down on what it is? I got it for Christmas from an Aunt and just put it on the shelf, mainly because of the title.

Mybe ill read it at work some day

It attempts to teach Taoism through the stories/characters of "Winnie the Pooh". And I agree with BigDMcGee about the watered down bit.

Taoists, for the most part, aren't offended. It's just another way to get the name and spirituality out there, which brings in more believers. The hope is that by keeping the book out there, those interested in Taoism will continue to look for other books, thus finding less "watered down" material.
