ok im looking good in this freeroll, sitting on 115,000 with blind 1000/2000 and im in 25th/ 175 left started with 5800 people
Dealt to me : Kd Kc
I raise to about 10,000
First guy goes all in for about 80,000
Second guy goes all in for about 50,000
So i Obviously Call thinking Yes.
First Guy: 6 6
Second Guy: Q Q
flop comes 5 7 8 turn is a 6 giving first guy trips, and of course last card is the J of Spades to give the guy with QQ a very nice flush on the river.. HMM.. i hate suckouts.
Okay.. so sitting on around 30,000 i doubled up then took down a nice pot and got to around 100,000 again... a very very loose player right behind me goes all-in with A J 1 club ... i think for a few moments and call with A Q (no clubs) and obviously what did this guy do everyone? oh that is correct he definetly made a flush and beat me with it leaving me with 25,000 with blinds at 2000/4000 and i get Kd 10d and i lose to Ad 8h cause im cool like that... now.. i know i prolly should have just sat on the mouse with my A Q and not clicked call.. but i had the guy beat.. so whatever

Full Version: internet poker freerolls suck
My thoughts:
Don't play freerolls. Seriously, play buy-in tournys. If you don't want to pay for a big one, then pay a small buy-in so it'll be like a freeroll. I hate freerolls...

Freerolls are absolute crap. Unless you're broke and that's all you can afford to play. 
People play like maniacs, and the prize money is laughable compared to how many people you have to go through in order to obtain it.
I played one last night and here are the results:

I think after that game, I'm gonna have to take a trip to disneyworld... okay maybe not... I couldn't even buy a keychain from there with all that prize money I won.
edit: by the way, it was a 990 player tourney... I really kind of feel bad placing the way I did, because I'm sure one of those people needed the money more than I did.

yeah, sometimes i play these just to practice against extremely loose games. often ill get a huge stack because people dont care about their chips. the few times that i have been to the final table i alway announce that i am giving away my chips cause i dont need the money and then i leave the game and get blinded away. have to let those thirteen year olds get thier bank roll started somehow
