So me and my friends are sitting around talking about these books that are supposed to be coming out from Danny and Gus in the near future and how we thought they would effect our playing and the play that we will sure enough be surrounded by when they come out. A quick background, my friends and I are enrolled at the same college and two or three of us will go out to a game together to clean it up (a lot of chumps around here). Not trying to sound like a badass or anything so sorry if it came across like that. Anyway, we came up with the conclusion that when these books come out (which I can't wait to get and read) it's going to bring in a lot of money for us, but not because the books are radically going to change our style of play. Just think of all the new wave players who see and hear about no one else but DN and Gus these days. These beginners are going to pick up these books and try to play like these guys immediately! We all know it takes a special person with an uncanny table feel to play like these guys and make the kinds of decisions they are forced to make on nearly every hand. These books should be a great money making tool for any already established player. Please, don't get me wrong though, I'm not trying to bash these books at all. I can't wait to read them and put parts of them in to my game. Just thought I'd share that with you all and see how you felt about the issue of the current super-aggressive play style that's so in demand right now and these new players coming to the came and trying to play like that. Sorry for the long post! Good day to all!
