ok heres the story. sorry theres no converter but this is a live game so ill try to include as much detail as possible.

the game is a Local 1-2 NL cash game. The players in the game are mostly loose but passive . average stack in the game is at or around 100-200. i myself also have around 180 in chips in front of me. My table image is one of solid/aggressive, most players at the table respect my game and know who i am. Now onto the hand

i am in the SB with the Q/8 offsuit, one UTG limper and one middle position limper, i complete the blind and the BB checks.
Flop comes 9 10 J rainbow.
i check ( i normally lead out here but i decided to change up a little bit ). The BB bets 2 dollars ( i know, terrible but most of these players are ) the UTG Limper calls 2 bucks, other player folds and i now raise it to 12 bucks ( want to make a little money with the 2nd nuts and the pot was only about 10 bucks ) BB folds, and the UTG limper flats calls instantly.
Turn card is the 5 , complete rainbow on the board
i now bet out 50 bucks ( there being about 32-36 bucks in the pot, i want to end the hand right there and i dont want to give him any correct odds on calling with a hand like Q/J or any hand like that ). The UTG limper now raises me 50 on top of my 50 bet. i hate the bet, it leaves him only about 40 bucks or so and if i call it also leaves me only about 50 bucks or so.....

so now, i ask you. what do you do. i know your first instinct is to call or just go all in for the rest..but think about the whole hand and how it all played out. i will tell you what i was thinking and the outcome of the hand after a little while and some geniune feedback. thanks guys

what are you thinking? he limped KQ?

ok. I push this without a read and/or tell that tells me otherwise.

if you had that, great. then you can fold..but as for how standard this hand is, we get it all in everytime.

heres my read on the given situation... if he had flopped a set or top 2 he would of raised the BB's bet and or my raise in my opinion because he wouldnt want to give a cheap draw to a hand like q/j or something like that... so i narrowed it down that he couldnt have a set, 2 pair or even TPTK, so then i thought about it more, i also think he would of raised with a hand like 7/8 having flopped the ignorant end of the straight, and once again not wanting someone to draw to a cheap Q open ended.... so i also kicked that one out and it left only KQ in my opinion.... but ill still hold off on what i did for now..

I think this is read dependent. Btw, I think OP hinted when he said loose..BUT passive. KQ could easily limp here. If a passive player raises you, Id fold.

I honestly think it depends on the player. Is he a player who cold calls sets, frequentently slowplays or has no idea what he's doing?

this was actually one player in the game who can be a bit tricky at times... but definately a player i can read and a player who is often afraid to make moves againist a player who he thinks is better then him ( i.e. me ) (( not trying to sound too cocky but... biggrin.gif ))

I don't really see why we want QJ to fold here.

This hand is a very easy push, if he has QK so be it.

Pots to big. I think you just have to push this with the odds you will be getting since you already put in another $50.
