Full Version: Good Check?

Nixed
New table, playing in a tourny too so no reads. With the bottom card pairing I'm not getting anything from betting the river right? Only getting called by better hands, or getting c/red right?

I wouldn't have bet the flop, but I guess the check on the river is fine if you like how you played the rest of the hand...

dandy vs loose players who play stright forward.
It would take a special breed of loose player to call the river with worse hand, not worth c/r..unless h'es very passive/loose and you can fold to the c/r

what am I saying..you'd fold to any c/r here, excepy from donkey maniac

How do you not bet the flop?

You are heads up after raising preflop, and you have second pair, top kicker.

You NEED to bet this flop. There's no reason to think you are behind.

Looks prefect to me. Some passive players will play Krag this way though I suspect you're winning this more often than not. I think not betting this flop would be a mistake.
