i was a little confused here and thought folding was the correct decision. Am i right here or play a little to tight?

What was your plan if the turn was say like a 2h?

Good fold given the way it was played, but I would have three-bet that flop. There are a lot of hands he can be raising in that spot, and you have equity.

Did you have any reads?

I like the fold but agree with above poster...I'd probably 3-bet the flop to get a better sense of where I stand.
