betwen tucking my wife in and going back for a check in, I decide to play a few limit hands. About 10. PT is so backed up with unprocessed hands, that I never did get GT fired up.

PFR raised the only other time I saw him in a similar pos.
I played one hand so far: As poster from CO, Rased with 74s, called by button, lead out on a 755 flop and took it down there.

Maybe 2-3 sd's out of 9 hands. Several PFR raise / all folds.
Boy, I miss 2/4 Full rolleyes.gif

Of course I did not scout much and had to get on a table quickly.
Although, I'm sure the 5BB ave was a lie.

ok.now to the hand.

For some reason I think you took this hand down b/c villain was on a diamond draw and tried to take the action away, and that's why you posted the hand.

Given 2/4 limit on party (me fave), however, i think villain more often has a KQ/suited QJ here, and calls a river bet after the 2nd A hits. Good check on the river, of course, after he calls your turn bet.

I'm more passive with mid pckts though; I call-call and fold to a turn bet on this board.

say GT was up...what kind of Villan stats do we need for this to be a good play

And do I fold the flop because:

- he usually has an Ace
- If I"m ahead, I'm dodging at least 6 outs twice
- He'll call down with JJ+ especially after the 2nd Ace hits

I really put him on a steal.
This table was tight and he was 1/1 on steals so far.
If that ain't a read I don't know what is! biggrin.gif

What game is this?

Why are there only 2 flop cards?

I've never read anything in the strat section that you have posted that has made sense.

-------------------

Defintely fold the flop.

There are 2 overs. What was he raising with that we beat? Not much, unless he raises with 66, KJ, KT, etc... not very likely.

I may call down if he is like 99/99/9.0
