I have been active in this forum in the past but kinda stopped posting. I have decided to come back and post a series of hands from recent sessions to provoke some analysis and discussion (some hands that I won and some hands that I lost)

Quick background on me: I turned a bank roll of 75 bucks into a thousand over the last year, I withdrew 400 leaving me with 600 to play 1-2 and a plan for the summer to play more and start playing semi-serously. (I play on pokerroom if that matters to anyone)

PokerRoom 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Preflop: Hero is CO with td.gif, th.gif.
4 folds, MP3 raises, Hero 3-bets, 3 folds, MP3 calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 6h.gif, 4h.gif, 6s.gif (2 players)
MP3 checks, Hero bets, MP3 calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) 4c.gif (2 players)
MP3 checks, Hero bets, MP3 calls.

River: (6.75 BB) 2c.gif (2 players)
MP3 checks, Hero bets, MP3 calls.

Final Pot: 8.75 BB

if you want to know the result of the hand or have any questions concerns comments etc. please feel free to PM me, otherwise post away

Villain does this all day with AK, AQ, etc. NH.

If he has JJ-AA, then thank him for saving you a few bets.

reads help.

Since the board is dbl paired Ax calls you down here a lot.
Otherwise, I would check behind on the river against decent players.

Decent players are raising a hand that beats yours somewhere in this hand 95% of the time, I think.

I HIGHLY doubt that a decent player is playing JJ-AA, 6x, 4x this way.

usually, yeah.
Maybe QQ/JJ passive WA/WB ?
Letting our seemingly aggressive hero bet it for him

I'm saying if board was NOT dbl paired:

How many hands raise preflop and call the river, that we beat?
In Full Ring, most don't call down with A high..so I check behind.
AK and 99 only hands we lose value against sometimes.

I think we get a lot of calls from Ax because the board is double paired with all low cards. If you're in villains shoes with AQ or AJ you don't play it like this? I think I do including the river call.
