This was a back and forth match with each player having the other close to the felt. I really didn't pick up any legitimate hands all match and was really trying to just chop away at the small pots, because I knew Jbradburn was trying to play big pots and bluffing fairly often, so my plan was to chop away and wait for a hand to trap him with. The first key hand was of course when I raised PF with QT of spades and Jbradburn re-raised with A5 and I called. The flop came out A J 8 giving me a double gutshot. He bet about half the pot and I moved over the top All-In. I really didn't think he had a good Ace and felt he likely had a pocket pair and was thinking I would probably take it down there, but he called and had A5 offsuit. Fortunately, I hit a K on the river and took a big chiplead after that pot. The next key hand was when Jbradburn limped on the button with Aces and I had Q2. I flopped top pair and bet the flop, was raised and ended up check/calling all the way down and doubling him up. I put him more on middle pair or a busted flush draw, but that was wrong.
After that we got about even in chips and eventually he had me on the ropes before I got a key double up hitting a straight on the turn. I had 58 in blind and limped in. Flop came out 67Q all clubs, he checked and I decided to check behind. The turn came a 4 and he bet and I made a raise, he moved in and I called. He had 76 for 2 pair and that pot brought me back to even. From there it was just chopping away at small pots and I had a 2:1 chiplead or so when the last hand came up. I limped with A2 offsuit and JBradburn raised from the BB with T3 offsuit. The Flop came 2 9 4 and he moved all-in and I just sensed he had overcards and didn't hit that flop, so I decided to call with bottom pair, my hand held up and I took the match.
