Well, I've been watching this show now for the 7 seasons and it's been a great run. I'm disappointed with FOX, I think it could've ran for another season at least. I'm gonna miss this show, it was a nice contrast to South Park and Family Guy. Scrubs is the only other comedy I watch so it's gonna leave a hole. There was also good progression and you saw them grow which you don't get in animated comedies. That cheesy sitcom Friends ran for longer but I couldn't help cringing at every other predictable joke. Malc in the middle was truly one of the funniest shows ever with fresh content.

Yup this has been one of my favorite shows ever since it came out. I still would rather watch a new episode of Malcolm in the Middle instead of The Simpsons even though I am a die hard Simpsons fan. It is a shame that it is getting taken off since it had such great humor.

Yea, I always loved the Simpsons but I don't follow the new episodes anymore. It all feels so bland and predictable and relies a lot on topical humour now.

I wish they would've showed Reese's penis at least once.

Malcom sucks, I hate that kid actor. Glad it's finally cancelled. Prison Break, now there is a good show.

I dont hate Frankie Munez, he seems like he's got his act together. Might not become a drug addict like every other child star.

Yeah he's pretty annoying, the parents are hilarious and Reese and Dewey aren't annoying to watch.

I never did like the show and I won't be sad to see it go.

Malcolm was good the first few seasons but steadily got worse.

I don't like Malcolm, but the rest of the cast is ok.

That basically sums it up, the rest of the family is hilarious but Malcolm is such an annoying little punk.

im not a big fan of this show but i just saw the episode where malcom thinks reeses is gay and reese thinks malcom is gay...(tricked by that girl)

Those of you who don't like Malcolm aren't really getting part of the joke/main concept of the show. He's not supposed to be likeable, imo. He is simply the dork caught IN THE MIDDLE. Get it?

Anyway, pretty good show, always had a few laughs. Thumbs up from me, as it's clearly better than 90% of the other crap out there. God, people will watchi any stupid thing they're told to...

I watch it after Seinfeld at 11 on fox. Its not bad but some of the story lines are pretty weird. But like you said, it is better than about 90% of the crap out there.

Also, I forget his name but the older brother in the show, his face looks like Allen Cunningham's avatar on Full Tilt.

Ye it was getting worse as the seasons wore on. But still, IMO top 5 comedies at the time. Simpsons is the only thing that needs to be cut. For God sakes, dont taint that legacy.

It was a good show the first few seasons but then they added too many characters which just got confusing and not funny.

I kinda like this show, but I think it didn't need to keep going. The early and middle episodes are definitely better. I think Dewey is by far the funniest character, followed by the dad. When Dewey wasn't cute anymore the show really kinda sucked IMO. I was just watching the episode where Reese gets his driver's permit. 3 funny lines from Dewey:


[Reese is tied up, Dewey is about to hit him with a huge bag of toys]
Reese: If you do this I'll never drive you anywhere for the rest of your life.
Dewey: I have nowhere to go.



[Reese is being arrested by a mob of police, Dewey's watching on tv]
Dewey: Give 'em a reason, give 'em a reason!
TV anouncer: He's resisting, they're bringing out the pepper spray...
[Dewey smiles]



Dewey: Why aren't they trying him as an adult?

I just watched that episode too. The bit with dewey and the bag of toys made me giggle like a schoolgirl. Another favorite dewey moment is when the boys fix the mini bike and reese busts his leg. They then make it appear that craig ran over reese but he wasn't crying hard enough so dewey punches reese in the leg to ellicit some real screams.
