Well I was a surprise call up this week with our Captain out of town on business. We like to go with the hot hand and our agreement is that if you win, you play next week. The pressure was on as I did not want to tarnish our 2-0 record.

I carefully scouted out last week's matchup between Kid Poker and Sloshr99 hoping to find an edge I could exploit. Sloshr99 later let me know that it would be Theresa1130 that I would be playing.

The match started right on time We passed a couple of pots to each other as we were still in the feeling out stage. I then took a decent lead of about 1900-1100 with a sizeable pot that wasn't shown down. Theresa battled all the way back and avoided a couple of fatal hands. She got away from my boat and the nut flush. We were near even when I took down two small pots.

Then there was the final showdown...

That was a very good game. I almost forgot how much fun it is to play HU poker as I've been in Vegas playing full boring ring games during the WPT championships.

I'm pretty sure it was less than 12 minutes as the blinds were still 10-20...Oh well let's say it was between 11-16 minutes then. We'll meet in the middle and say 13.

You're actually Canadian and drink that sht? Crown Royal minimum, reserve if you really want to celebrate. And stop killing the taste with that coke. To think they got on my case for diluting with water.

Anyway, good match. I railed and thought you played well. However, the CC Riders will be back. Perhaps we'll meet again in the playoffs.
