I've never heard of this guy until he died, but since then I've shown countless people his page on Wikipedia which has a ton of his jokes. That said, I think his delivery is poor, and his jokes are much funnier without him actually telling them... but since I know that his delivery is why so many people like him, aka Steven Wright, flame away.

If you don't like, you don't like him. I thought he was pretty funny, but not a genius.

my personal favorite:
I bought myself a parrot. The parrot talked. But it did not say, "I'm hungry,"... so it died.

I don't know brvheart, I always thought his delivery was what made a lot of his jokes work. It isn't really the same without the spaced out voice.

I agree. I havent seen anyone else perform his jokes though so I dont have anything to compare it with. His delivery was so unique it would always take someone who hadnt seen him yet a couple jokes to start laughing, but by the end of the set they would be rolling.
