I think you played it fine. With a strong hand like you had on 5th you should be betting for the exact reason what happend, have a strong lo-draw but make decent hi.

I don't play much stud hi/lo and certainly not heads ups... but your call on 4th seems a little loose to me. You still need to catch two for the low and your aim is to scoop, so I don't know about that call.
