BB ($65.33)
Hero ($50.95)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 6c, 8c. SB posts a blind of $0.25.

BB: J high flush
No reads on min raiser here, not crazy lag or big donkey or anything like that. Fairly straightforward. Preflop I sometimes call sometimes raise, rarely fold, all depending on how table is playing. What do you think the best flop line is? Turn? River?
Hand 2
Hero ($78.28)
BB ($35.81)
UTG ($50.60)
MP ($48)
Button ($58.47)
Preflop: Hero is SB with 3d, 2d. Hero posts a blind of $0.25.

Thoughts on this? Value raise the river? Check raise the turn here? Villian is straightforward and has either flush or ace, almost nothing else( or boat).

Please flame me for this hand so I never do it again. Thank you. I think this one is reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal bad. I peeled one off hte flop, with the gutshot/backdoor flush draw. Turn is a bizarre card for me, I put him on a random king on flop, maybe ak, and am unsure of where i am so i call (great great thinking there) while i'm totally dead basically to k9 kj any ten now. I also decide if button gets in anyway involved i'm shut down. River, well I sucked out (in my mind) so of course i bet and get it all in.
Villian: k10 spades, he had me the whole way.

Hand 1: raise harder on the flop, fold to an all-in unless a good read warrants otherwise.
Generally speaking, the min-raise means a monster at those stakes. It's so stupid. Ron Mexico and I were just laughing at all the retarded min-raises at our table last night.
Btw, I really like your pre-flop call. 8c6c is an excellent "sneaky" hand, and since the raisor is being an idiot by min-raising, you're getting in cheap.
Hand 2: I think villain's actions warrants a raise on the turn. The person with the flush is going to slow down on the turn if it pairs the board, not bet into you. Not only this, but they have a lessor chance of being on the flush draw as well since they are showing strength when the second Ace hits.
Hand 3: You pretty much beat yourself up over that enough.

What do you think is a good turn raise amount in hand 2 and why?

C/R to $7 lead river for the pot
Honestly you have to C/R here to get paid by the trips. Players love their trip aces and by his betting I basically can rule out the flush although he may have a heart which is also y we C/R.
Edit: Lead pot on the river provided board doesnt pair, a heart and I still lead the pot

Purely for value, I think a raise to $5-$6 is perfect.
For the reasons above. He's playing his ace. He's unsure on the flop (two-pair would be raising to protect against the draw), he made the worst maneuver by calling. On the turn he's now betting into you, when in reality his hand hasn't improved against a better ace, the flush, or the straight. He's playing horridly and telling you what he has. By betting the 2nd ace(to make his set), he's telling you that his ace is obviously not a heart, and the only question is what his kicker is. That is, whether it's a heart or not since we've already deduced he did not turn a boat. On the river you need to be cautious that he didn't meet up with his kicker. Whether to call an all-in on a river of Q is questionable... I think you'd have to call (if he did indeed go all-in) because AQ is generally raising pre-flop.

hey man, sorry for not really responding last night on AIM. I was self loathing to much at the time. I hate doing that, I know it's gay as hell.

Anyways, hand 1 I think I'd play the same.
Hand two is interesting. There are a lot of hands that have us beat here so I'm fine with c/c down if villian really won't bet with much else.
haha, awesome spike on hand 3.
