Villain is 52/20/3.7 (do you use PT stats like this in NL?)

Anyways, I'm fairly certain I'm ahead on the flop, on the turn I pick up an OESD, yet I still feel I'm in the lead.

River is the only tough decision, IMO. Is this a bluffed FD or overs or SD enough to make this call?

Comments on every street are appreciated as well. Thanks.

- Zach

PS - I'm not an NL player. I just play a modified smash strat to make some extra cash, but sometimes I feel the need to try and play real poker against these guys, and play some marginal pots, instead of the simple smash strat.

if you think that you are ahead on the turn what are you afraid of on the river?? a set possibly? I just think that the 5 is no real scare card if you really feel good about the turn

That was my thinking.

I'm just trying to figure out if I made a donkey call. wink.gif

Although he raises 20% of his hands, I can't think of much that would raise PF, and then check/call this flop and turn that beats me. He also waited a long time before betting the river, which made me think bluff, fwiw.

I dont think Zach thought he was ahead. Id guess you just thought you could get him to fold the better hand.

I certainly did think I could be in the lead given the way he passively played the hand on the flop and the turn.
