Button ($62.03)
SB ($52.45)
BB ($31.60)
UTG ($135)
MP ($48.75)
Hero ($56.45)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Ks, Js. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
2 folds, Hero raises to $1.5, Button calls $1.50, SB (poster) calls $1.25, 1 fold.

Flop: ($5) 2s, Kh, 6h (3 players)
SB bets $3, Hero raises to $7, Button folds, SB calls $4.

Turn: ($19) 3h (2 players)
SB bets $4, Hero calls $4.

River: ($27) 2h (2 players)
SB bets $12, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $39
Alternate lines? I'm open to discussion on all streets, although I'm more focused on flop, turn and river. I think I botched turn, but his bet confused me.

Hand 2
SB ($59.93)
BB ($64.10)
UTG ($33)
MP ($134)
CO ($48)
Hero ($45.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Jh, Ad. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, BB raises to $4.5, UTG folds, Hero calls $3.

Flop: ($10.75) 6h, 2c, 2h (2 players)
BB bets $5, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $15.75

Villain is strange, can't figure out if he is good or bad. He has gotten the best of me, but I almost feel like he's too loose, and is definitely capable of being tricky. Standard? Fold to the 3 bet preflop because I'm easily dominated? Make a play on flop?

Hand 3

SB ($18.85)
BB ($53.60)
UTG ($105.80)
MP ($45.95)
Hero ($102.85)
Button ($102.62)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Qs, Ah. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.50, Button calls $0.50, SB (poster) completes, BB checks.
This is NOT standard preflop for me, but this table was wild and willing to call and bet huge sums, so I felt like waiting to hit something before committing a large portion of my chips.
Flop: ($2.50) 5h, Qc, 3s (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets $2.4, Hero calls $2.40, Button folds, SB folds, BB folds.

Turn: ($7.30) As (2 players)
UTG bets $3, Hero?
UTG seems tilted, he had about 30 bucks more but has lost some big pots and seems frustrated. What is my plan to stack him here?

And finally, this prevented me from being up 90$ on the night and left me even...

CO ($55.18)
Button ($86.50)
SB ($40.35)
BB ($129.75)
UTG ($50)
Hero ($40.50)

Preflop: Hero is MP with Jc, Kh. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50, 1 fold, SB (poster) raises to $0.75, BB calls $0.50, UTG calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50.

Flop: ($5) 9d, 8h, Ts (5 players)
SB bets $2, BB folds, UTG calls $2, Hero calls $2, CO folds.

Turn: ($11) Qc (3 players)
SB bets $4, UTG calls $4, I push and say in the chat box, we're chopping(genius obviously), SB calls, UTG folds.

River: ($19) Ks (2 players)

Final Pot: 86
Me:KJ, Him:aj
Comments welcome on this also, but whatever it seemed standard to me, just a bad beat post biggrin.gif

I open raise 3.5x the BB. I'd suggest it to...especially at $50NL.

Flop: ($5) 2s, Kh, 6h (3 players)
SB bets $3, Hero raises to $7, Button folds, SB calls $4.

this is a value raise? It's def. not protecting us from a flush draw or a hand like 45, 34, etc. Raise it up more...if we are raising.

Turn: ($19) 3h (2 players)
SB bets $4, Hero calls $4.

I'd raise or fold here personally.

River: ($27) 2h (2 players)
SB bets $12, Hero folds.

Yap. I wouldn't try to pick off a bluff here...although I'd be willing to bet he had you on the turn.

weird flop bet by him. He's either trying to iinduce a bluff or has a hand like AK/AQ. This is one of those times where if you want, you could try and push him off the hand by raising it up and betting most turns if he checks to you.

But yea, standard fold on the flop. I hate calling re-raises with AJo (but i do it here/there), but in position...I don't mind it as much...

I hear ya, but I'd still raise. We do better cutting the field...so if we are limping we basically need to flop two pair or better to be "really" comfortable...which is what you are looking for limping in?

Flop: ($2.50) 5h, Qc, 3s (5 players)

...I'd raise here. Probably to $7.

I'd raise here, to $10 or $12.

Hand One

You gotta be beat on the turn fold to his lead even though its weak. You played the rest of the hand very well. Our only other option in this one is to raise the turn but I have a feeling villian isn't going anywhere.

Hand Two

You gotta raise this hand here. I understand table is loose right so they are call raises w/ A7 QJ QT A3 etc. All hands which we dominate and share a card w/ a better kicker. You must raise here. But since you didn't raise the flop to at least $6 and if he checks bet $10 on the turn if he leads the turn triple his bet. Hes tiltn, lets get em

Hand Three

Bad Luck. Happens especially when you make a trapping comment w/ the stone cold nuts biggrin.gif

Hand 1 really stands out here. I really don't like the raise on the flop to begin with as it's almost a min-raise and we're really making it to no purpose. If we're putting him on a pair, then we're alerting him to a better hand when he's not going to be able to call or else we're beat, and if it's a draw, then we're still giving him odds. I'd probably just call here and wait to see what develops on the turn, but if you're going to raise, you need to raise to at least $9. Then, assuming you do raise the flop, you have to raise the turn. It seems to me like he's got something that he wants to play, but he's worried about a made flush or a set or something. I think that if you decided to play the hand aggressively on the flop, you should go ahead and raise to $15 or so on the turn.

Hand 2, I'd go ahead and raise to $10 or so on the turn. He could easily be slowing down with an ace here to make you think it scared him, or he could have something like KQ, but not want to let it go. If he folds, oh well, that happens. If you wait for the river to raise though, it will just minimize your value when he's got a hand he's going to play.

nah its not "almost" a min raise its 3x the BB although I like 3.5-4x the BB

Hand 1: I play $50 NL very strange. I limp, then limp some more, and when I'm done limping, I limp. I would not raise pre-flop here, but certainly would call. I'd probably take the same route you did on the flop, then fold to the turn bet.

Hand 2: I do not call re-raises with AJ.

Hand 3: Raise that turn hard.

Hand 4: Not much you can do sir. I generally won't call a raise with KJ, especially that early in position, even though a min-raise looks tempting. If there's an AJ and KQ/AK in the pot you are drawing nearly dead to almost any board except the one you got.

Yes, I play super weak-tight and peddle the nuts. Works for me.

I'd have to see the villain take this line often on the turn to really be willing ot put a big raise in. I think you played this hand well.

Yes, the flop bet is almost a min-raise. The minimum he could raise was to $6 and he raised to $7.

Hand 1: Raise on the flop to at least 11. If he still bets out $4 on the turn. I'd either reraise or fold depending on read.

Hand 2: Feels like he's got a pocket pair greater than the board. You fold here or you have to push hard to represent a bigger pocket pair. Probably folding is a good line.

Hand 3: You've got to get a little more aggressive with TPTK on the flop. Bump it up to $8. Bump the turn as well.

Hand 4: Don't talk next time =) Why give people information. However, you were gonna lose this one any way to look at it since he'll call with the 2nd high straight.
