Full Version: No H.o.r.s.e. On Tv
I was checking out wsop.com and found their tv schedule for the 2006 WSOP and I saw that they didnt have the 50K HORSE tourney on their schedule. Anyone else upset at the prospect of an awesome tourney not being shown?

That's a shame. I would love to watch the HORSE tournament. I started playing HORSE over at full tilt a few months ago and got hooked. It's all I play online anymore. I think the HORSE tournament among the top pros would be a lot of fun to watch. I think I would rather watch the HORSE tournament than the "main event." Do you know if they are at least going to film it with the intent of releasing it on the DVD?
The only people that would like a H.O.R.S.E. event on TV are the major poker enthusiasts. I knew that they wouldnt show this event when they took off the Razz even this past year.

Yes
If this decision holds, then it is one of the dumbest things Harrah's has done since taking the rights of the WSOP.
Even if they do decide to air it, it'll only be the final table which is NLH anyway. Boo.
They made the final table nlhe FOR tv. Itll be on.
It will be on, but we won't get to see H.O.R.S.E.
Even tho they will prolly only show the final table, it will still be one of the best episodes considering the entire final table should be top pros. It will make great TV.

Agreed. I can't imagine them having a NLHE final table and not telecasting it. Would be ridiculous.

They've changed the dates of the HORSE event in order ""to provide enhanced television coverage of the largest buy-in event in World Series of Poker history."
Let's hope they show some actual HORSE and not just the final table.

I honestly think Norman Chad's head would explode trying to analyze the Stud 8 hands.

Actually, Chad played in a Stud 8 tourney at the last WSOP. Still, his head exploding would be great television.
