Ok... I know we ***** about how the WSOP is turning into the World Series of Hold'em alot over in general... but I'm looking at the circuit schedules and most of them are exclusively hold'em events. A few have omaha or H.O.S.E., but NO, Caesars and AC didn't have a single stud game.
I'm bored and pissed... so ignore me

It is sad really, as there are so many different forms of poker that definately should be played at the WSOP.
My thoughts on the matter are to add some $50K buy-in tourneys to the mix, with them NOT being hold'em, but the other "popular" forms of poker, which I am sure that the "pros" would play in, rather than the $1K/$2K Hold'em games. I would think that a lot more respect and opportunities would arise for the winner of the $50K Horse/Shoe/Hose etc. tourney(s) than for a $2K Hold'em tourney...

You're right.. the respect that the horse winner will receive will completely outweigh a $1500 NLHE bracelet winner, especially for those who actually follow the game closely. The $1500/$2000 hold'em events (17 this coming WSOP) are sad because the bracelet is becoming less prestigious, with so many out there for such low buy-ins.
I hope that since DN and others could get the H.O.R.S.E. deal worked out after last years series, they can address the World Series of Hold'em problem after this years.
