Again I'm just starting to play Omaha a lot more so any insight would be helpful.

Hand 1, I'll bet this flop, I don't see a reason not to. I might even check-raise the flop (you have a very strong draw, and you will have trouble getting action from a set if another club or a straight card hits, you really don't want a club to hit, though). I'm probably pushing the turn too, since you want to try to clean up your club draw. You might get a caller on a club draw anyway, nothing you can do.

Hand 2, pot the flop. You got called, so you are probably up against someone with the other 8. A lot of times, I'll pot the turn too, since he showed interest in the pot and I'd prefer to win it here rather than give him a shot to hit a bigger kicker. If he calls the turn, I'm betting most of the pot on the river, since he doesn't appear to mind that he is probably beat.

In hand one, our draw isn't really that strong. Only a non-club 5 or 6 gives us the nuts, which is only 5 outs. I think checking is the right move here and either calling or folding based on the action behind us. A check-raise MIGHT be appropriate if the pre-flop raiser bets and everyone folds to us, but it would be a pretty big gamble. If there is a bet and one or more callers, we have to assume that our flush draw is not live, and whether to continue will be a simple matter of calculating the pot odds. Pushing on the turn is obvious.

In hand 2 I agree with srblan 100%.

Edit: Sorry, I didn't realize that you did pot the flop. Didn't realize that the pot was only $2 reading the hand. LOL

I did pot the flop. The turn I didn't pot, barely. But I filled up on the turn. Only hand that beats me is 99. I'm confused which pt. your sayng to pick up a small pot right there.

I was kinda thinking the same thing that my draw was too weak. I figured some total blank hands would drop but none did. I was also considering a c/r attempt but as we can see it appears that no one is dropping. I haven't checked the odds on cardplayer, but even with the nuts on the turn I'm sure I'm not that great of a favorite. One player had hearts, One had nut clubs, one had a set and 9T.

Mainly cuz your kicker is horrible...so anyone that is a solid player who is calling the flop is likely ahead of you. Any more than 4 handed...I'd might be check/folding trips no kicker in MP. You probably needed to fill up to win...am I right? Once you hit the turn...your play is fine though.
