I dunno if anyone else is a fan of this show, but I saw the first two seasons at college and got absolutely addicted. I never get hooked on TV shows, but this one was just awesome. Denis Leary is great in it, but the best part about it is that the supporting cast is just as good as he is.

FANTASTIC show. I never missed an episode of the first two seasons. Hilarious.

Although it has its funny moments, i thought the show was just really good, though not meant to be a comedy. it obviously deals with some really big issues and i often found myself completely entranced after the first few minutes.

i love how they do the musical montage at the end of each episode, and when they used the mars volta's "the widow" i went nuts

Good point. House also makes use of the musical montage at the end of each episode. It makes for an especially powerful ending.

I can't wait for the new season. I have always been a Dennis Leary fan, but after seeing just the very first episode of Rescue Me, I had a new found respect for him. He's a hell of a writer, a hell of a producer, and a hell of an actor.

I think this starts on the 30th. Looking forward to it.

Resuce Me has follwed in the footsteps of The Shield. It combines action, drama and comedy into a full episode. Not too many other shows capture all 3. I like the show.

I think Dennis is a pretty funny guy. He did a good job on the Red Sox Championship DVD which I own. Its good stuff.

From the looks of episode #1 it looks like it should be a pretty good season. Should be interesting when Tommy finds out who his sonn to be ex-wife is dating.

Another great show from FX for sure. This past epidsode was good, but the previews for next week look amazing. I think that Janet is pregnant and thats why Johnny came to talk with Tommy.

thats what i was thinking, although i dont think that Johnny knows about Janet banging Tommy. Janet wont know for sure and Tommy wont be willing to run away with Sheila because it might be his kid, his new son.

the only storyline i havent liked this year so far, is the one with Sean and Maggie. Frankly, she isnt that hot and is a total *****. I dont where they are going with it, but hopefully something crazy happens.

I agree, but it is a little funny watching his interaction with Tommy about it. She is 100% crazy!

Yeah, it was pretty funny when Sean was hugging Tommy last episode.

All I can say is, I was right. It isnt the first time.

Tonight's scene where Sean was asking for permission to marry Maggie was excellent. "Who cares, he'll be dead in a few months..."

I hate when the season comes in to its last month. This is one of the hardest shows to wait on.

All I can say is that Dennis Leary had BETTER win that damn Emmy. I've always been surpirsed that it has taken this long to gain any recognition.

I'm sure FX will leave us hanging until next season, just like they have with did Vic know that Shane was going to frag Lem in the last episode of The Shield.

Im not sure if they will ever say whose it is. EVen a DNA test would be hard to prove who the father really was. I do think that Johnny will find out and leave Janet though.


Vic doesnt know or even suspect Shane. NOt yet anyway.

Im rewatching season one of REscue Me right now, its just so good.

Another great episode. I loved the part where he asked Johnny and Janet for money for a cab.

They have so many story lines going right now with each character, almost to a point that it is distracting. I have a feeling that Franco's ex-girlfriends brother is the one we see shooting a gun at someone or something in the previews they showed at the end.

The Shawn and Tommy's sister angle is stupid to me too.

Im not sure what the previews for next week mean, mainly because the previes from last week totally skewed the episode and made me think it was gonna go a certain way, and then didnt. So im not sure what will happen, but i cant wait. And I agree, as I said before, the whole Sean and Maggie storyline sucks.

It seems like the previews for the past few weeks have been really random clips that in no way reflect what actually happens. I guess that is the whole ploy, it get's all of us to watch.
