she doesn't bring anything to the show I agree, but hasn't his character been through enough? haha
I think a better plot line would be Tommy going into a different firehouse, and 4 of the firemen are jerking off all over her. Ok, maybe that wont work, but yeah, you get the point.

Odds on who gets shot....
Johnny - 3/2
Janet - 7/2
Sheila - 9/1
Franco - 10/1
Mickey - 12/1
Probie - 15/1
Jerry - 20/1
Lou - 25/1
Tommy - 100 to 1
Anyone Else - 1/1
Im taking Johnny of course.

Guess it was Johnny.
and did everyone laugh as hard as I did during the opening scene when they were coming down in the bucket as I did last night? Oh my goodness.
And at least they stopped with the marriage stuff.
Now she (I forget her name) bought the house, and Johnny is out of the picture I'm assuming, looks like him and Janet are gonna get back together.

I wish that Tommy would go with Sheila, it would be best for him. But that was never gonna happen. I dont think he will get back to gether with Janet, theres just too much bad blood there.

Definitely a classic line!
Only Tommy's crazy sister would call everyone back that is leaving a funeral for her wedding.
I have a feeling that the seaon finale will be the scene where we see Tommy walking into the office to turn in his papers for retirement...which he won't, but it will make us think until next season.

Well, to be honest the season finale disapointed me overall. A good finish. But the whole thing about the crew breaking up was stupid. Everyone knew they would all stay and I hate when shows do stuff like that.
SPOILER!
Im sure that they will survive or somehow Tommy will and Sheila will die. Obviously Tommy will, otherwise how can the show go on. But the fire is just kind of an extension of the whole crew breaking up thing, its all a danger that seems real but wont actually hurt Tommy.

can they really kill off Sheila? How many people would that be dead in Tommy's life?
His mother, brother, son, best friend, members of his firehouse, now his g/f? That might be overkill.
I hate cliffhangers

I was disappointed too. The classic "we are all leaving for bigger and better things" only to decide that what they have is pretty good is way over done.
I hope Sheila dies...she is out of her mind! I agree with Ron that Tommy would have way too many dead people walking around with him, which gets goofy after a while.

I dont see how they wont be taken to the hospital, where blood tests may be done due to Tommys condition.

Spoilers...
This show is really awsome. My favorite scene was at the end of one of the episodes where they do those music montages. HE bring a kid he though was alive out of a burning house and the paramedics decleared her dead. So he goes to work on her to bring her back and everyone is looking at him like WTF is he losing it. Earlier in the show the mother gave him **** for having not done enough when their son go hit by the a car. After a long time the kid breathes again and then all the fire fighters look at him in awe as he light sup a smoke. Freaking most powerful scene I saw in a long time. The music was perfect too, Devil by Steroephonics if I remember well.
I keep telling people to watch this show but it seems to be bery unpopular

Yeah, this show is fantastic. I didn't see nearly any of the new season, so I'm waiting for the DVD.
This show really perfected the music-montage ending. I remember during the whole Sheila miscarriage thing, they ended an episode with "The Widow" by Mars Volta and I nearly shit myself. They really must have some dedicated music consultants, because they seem to come up with the perfect song, everytime.
Also, suitedaces- The pic in your sig is awesome.

That would make sense. A lot of the music is very current. Coldplay, Stereophonics, Mars Volta etc.
Regardless, awesome show. I haven't watched it in quite some time, but I might have a marathon of Season 1 and 2 to refresh myself when the new season comes out.

I think my favorite music montage from Rescue me so far was an episode in season two where it shows Tommy getting wasted at a bar and banging Sheila in the bathroom, but it ends up being just a daydream of Tommy's. I dont know the name of the song, but it was badas
s.
And you cant forget the one where Tommys son dies. Very powerful.
