My question is of course on the turn (I certainly hope preflop and flop are ok); can I 3-bet here or should I just call down? My thoughts were that there are many draws out there without too many hands flat out beating me, and the presence of the third player confounds me (HU I think I go into call down mode, but I seem to be going into that an awful lot so I was wondering if that would be standard if CO folded) but with CO between us I can't fold him unless MP1 caps, which is probably bad for me.

Anyways, maybe I am just playing scared, but in general I don't know what to do when the turn comes around and I am facing a good amount of aggression.

MP1 is 49/1/1.2 or so through about 85 hands, btw.

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, A.
2 folds, MP1 calls, 2 folds, CO calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, 1 fold, MP1 calls, CO calls.

Flop: (7 SB) J, K, A (3 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls, CO calls.

Turn: (5 BB) 6 (3 players)
Hero bets, MP1 raises, CO calls, Hero ??

Yup. I think he's more likely to have something like A6 here than the straight, or a set.

Ok, suppose I 3 bet, as seems common wisdom (and is what I actaully did, so good for me) and MP1 caps, and CO calls. Then, say the river is a brick, what then?

Also, what if the turn had been a bad card, like the 6c or even the 10c, and the action is the same? I guess my question comes down to when is 3 betting or capping good/bad on the turn/river, since the bets are larger and there is more information about people's hands.

On any club turn, or Q or 10 30betting would be bad

On a blank river if mp had capped I would check call. By doing this we are only charging the CO one bet which makes it likely that he will call while 2 may fold him. So its a spot where we are winning the same when we are ahead and losing less when we are behind by check/calling rather then bet/calling
