i've had a bit of experience with lucid dreaming, and to say it resembles time travel in any way seems a bit nutso.
as for seeing into the future... well i don't think that "seems" a "bit" nutso at all if you catch my drift
I said nothing about time travel. Daulton's whacked...I'm not saying otherwise.

MD we've discussed lucid dreaming before I believe. Back in like August I think. If I'm thinking of the wrong person I apologize.
I lucid dream almost every night. It is the most amazing thing in the history of the world lol. That said, I dont confuse it at all with time travel, but that could be his excuse.
Yeah, that was me. Lucid dreaming is the best thing ever. Being able to do it ever night is quite the gift. I remember my dreams ever night, but I onlt go lucid once every two weeks or so unless I force it.
Daulton's referring to astral projection, which is basically an out of body experience. I'm not claiming to know the mechanism, but I think that rather than a literal leaving the body, it's training the mind to release certain chemicals which trigger the experience. Google it...it's interesting to read up on. I'd especially recommend trying to a lucid dreamer. I've tried to astral project, and had little success, though I did experience the violent tremors that one resource said immediately preceeds being rocketed out of your body. I never made it further.
I thought it was complete crap when I first heard about it. Now I think there's something valid about the experiences, but reject all the supernatural crap that goes along with it.
Edit: Go
here if you're interested at all. It's amusing if nothing else.
