My plan when I called the turn was to call a small river bet but fold to a large one. I liked the Q, because I couldn't see how it hurt me, and I figured it would make it harder for villain to bet the river with a worse hand than mine.

I could bet a bit more on the flop, but I'm not sure if that accomplishes anything other than making the pot that much bigger when I get called.

I would bet more on the flop and lead on the turn and river, unless you are trying to milk him for more $$, in which case you cant fold.

You look very weak here and he could have almost anything. If you bet more earlier you can get away from the hand more easily. When you are OOP in particular, you want to bet or get out.

He has every reason to believe you just whiffed with AK here, so his bets could be complete bluffs. 1st hand of a tourney on PartyPoker I'm raising a whole lot more UTG with JJ, probably about 180. On the flop I also bet more, like 3/4 the pot. Either keep the lead on the turn when the 3 pairs the board or be prepared to check/call anything pot size and below twice.
