So im going to just copy what I have in my notes for the hands I played and one I didnt... Sorry this took so long to finish but Ive taken a week off after this...

-Nervous all morning until the chips got in my hands... started to cool off... First hand of the tournament J 5 o

-Raised OTB with A 10 spades..3 callers... Flop 10 9 2.. Guy bets 500 I call... Turns a 2 he bets 500 I raise to 1k... he calls... rivers a 2... hes all in I call... Flips K10... Ugh...

-New Table @11am

-4 limpers I raise out of the SB to 400 (b 50/100) no callers.... 3 6 clubs

-UTG limps I have 33 OTB i call... sb bb in as well... Flops J 9 3 (2 hearts) SB bets 300 BB folds UTG calls I Push.. they fold... * might have been a bad push but I havent played or hit a hand to that point and was happy putting 1k into a 3k stack...

-4125 @ 1st break... Blinds to 50/100

-I wasnt in the hand but I had 3 all ins A Q vs A Ks vs AA... K flop K river... Live poker is rigged also...

-Battle of the Blinds... A 3 dflops 2 diamonds i check BB checks turns a D i check he bets 500..I call..rivers another Diamond... I bet 300 and he folds...

-MAJOR SUCKOUT- Girl in MP raises to 300 I call with QJh.. Flops 9 high she bets 300 I raise to 1200... She pushes for 1k more I call reluctantly with no pair no draw... just got caught with the hand in the cookie jar... she flips 10 10 turns a Q but gives her 4 to the flush..rivers another Q and shes out and not very happy...

-End of level 2 @ 7k+ blinds to 100/200

-JJ raise to 600 SB calls.. Flops K q 10 he bets I call... Turns an Ace he checks I bet (2 hearts out there) 1200 he folds... Shows A 10... Ughhhh...

-A Q o MP.. raise to 800... SB all in for 1100 more flips 99 and I get 4 to the flush but cant hit... *remember this hand*

-You lost one Pot its ok...relax and move on

-Through the blinds @ 5900 push point is 5k.. try to wait for it...

-A8 in the cutoff..BB just loses a monster pot so I raise his BB... he folds... Finally an idea works

-AQ in late pos... Raise to 800 SB is all in... 2.5 more... I think for a while and call... He flips 99 as well... 4 to the flush on the turn and I cant hit... thats twice

-OUT 10 10 vs A 10... spikes an Ace and theres my tournament...

---- Ok so I played in It and tried to accumulate chips early which is never a bad thing..., I tried putting people on hands and concentrating... but as you can see through 3 hours I didnt exactly get a lot to play with as much as I tried... I had fun... the first AQ vs 99 was against the guy who eventually won the tournament... There was a lot of confusion and it was VERY poorly run... tables scattered all over the place mixed inbetween cash games and sitngos.. it was a mess.. they wanted people to see the new poker room and it cost them dearly... I got it in with race situations which I obviously was trying to win not last as long as possible... I know you might say A Q is not that strong of a hand... and I couldve easily said I had AK and the same result wouldve happened both times... such is poker... I learned a lot and calmed down... I can honestly say it was a lot of fun but I wish i couldve made it a lot longer...

854 Entries $452,620 prize pool

1st $127,294
2nd $67,057
3rd $36,369

and so on...81 paid...

Somewhere between 852 and 400... some tables were in the poker room where I was and others were in another room (where I never got to go).. So I counted about 20 tables actually in the tournament... but it was spread out... so I cant be sure...

Good report B, can I ask your opinion of Foxwoods overall? I'm thinking about taking a vacation there over the summer with my GF, is there enough things to do other than gamble to make it worth the trip? From the website it looks like there are tons of clubs, bars, and shows on-property, just want to get some feedback from someone who knows.

Because he posted that he was going last week in Off Topic and he knows we're the only forum that won't flame mercilessly.

Well something more to the effect of... I like the off topic crew better because I feel like theyre not the elitest type that gen usually is... I just like the people here better.. im more of a blue collar kinda guy... and off topic is where my people are at... just to see the difference I posted the TR in gen as well and to be honest... it just wasnt the same.. one guy said i was going to get renamed for sucking out on 10 10 with QJ... some other stuff... I dont know... For me its off topic because its a huge buy in for me... but a pitance for the supposed professional millionaires that GEN has... or so im told...

And not top mention wat AJS said... i just didnt want to get flamed mercilessly
