PP $100 NL

I am BB with KK, UTG min raises to $2, 2 callers, SB makes it $9, I get fancy and just call. UTG makes it $25 to go callers in between fold, SB goes all in over the top for $90, I have $120 and UTG has me covered. All in or fold? DO I have enough info to fold KK preflop like that? Had been at the table for 2 orbits and noone seemed to be playing too out of line.

Before I get flamed, I realize I should have made it $30-$40 after the SB raised, but like I said, I played it poorly and tried to get fancy.

$100 no limit is not the place to be making big laydowns. Get in there like swimwear.

QFT

Last night playing 2/5 at the B&M I saw no less than 4 people all in pre-flop.

KK, JJ, TT, 44

Kings held.

Granted, 2/5 at a B&M is more like 0.1/0.25 online, but as the great turd said, $100 NL is no place to make big laydowns.

Just hold your breath and make the call... If he has aces... pray to your god for a suckout...

Unless you were sooooo sure he had aces its a very difficult fold...

I don't know about you.. but if the hands turned over and you folded kings to weaker hands and missed on a huge pot... you'd be sad. and the ensuing tilt would leave you sad...

so will you tell us what happened?

UTG min-raise and then big bet is AA more than 80% of the time, especially after a substantial re-raise by SB.

If there is any situation to fold KK pre-flop, I think this is it. You have $9 committed and you are facing not only one but two other players who want to get it all-in.

Without reads I'm respecting and folding. Maybe weak, but you'll have better opportunities.

This was my rationale and I actually folded, figuring I only had a little bit committed to the pot. It turned out to be the wrong play right results. UTG instantly called and showed KQ, SB had TT, which ended up as quad tens, so I just made notes on each player and moved on, however I do believe I won't be folding KK any time in the near future, I just thought with the action stated it had to be AA, lesson learned, aka, next time I go broke vs. AA.
