I haven't seen the '06 numbers, but I hope they increased.
Last year KC ranked 30th out of 30 teams for total payroll ($36,881,000 vs '04's $ 47,609,000). Apologies if my math is off.
I wasn't taking a shot @ the Royals, just pointing out a fact.
Oh, no, I didn't take it as a shot at the Royals. I was just unsure what you meant and why you brought it up...kinda out of the blue. But yeah, you're right...but this offseason we went up to about 48 million....and plans are to go higher next offseason if the right players are there...prlobably to 55 million or so..maybe even more.
