It is time for the FCP dead heads to unite!


Post in this thread Grateful Dead songs that everyone should buy.

To start with the basics, my favorite Dead song has tp be Friend of the Devil. Everyone should own that song.

I can't think of a single band i hate more than the grateful dead - their music sucks and mercilessly it goes on forever and ever and ever - they haven't recorded a worthwhile piece of music in their entire career and really if it wasn't for drugs no one would like them

there is one live version that i love

For my money nothing satisfies like a Help>Slip>Frank from the early 80's. Studio wise my favorite is Unbroken Chain from Mars Hotel. Scarlet Begonias is also one of my favorites. Brett Mydlands "Easy To Love You" is probably one of the sweetest songs the Dead does.

I'm more of a fan of their jam vehicles like eyes of the world, Fire on the Mountain and Jack Straw though are some of my biggest favs

Fire on the mountain is great
