For those that don't want to read it, the Afghan government is prosecuting a man who converted from Islam to Christianity. He faces a possible death sentence. While I, and everyone else that supports freedom of (or from) religion, think it's terrible that this man is being prosecuted for this, I'd like to applaud the United States for not intervening in this trial or attempting to sanction the government of Afghanistan. I fully expected some kind of punishment for this - apparently, I was wrong.

honestly, you'll see this happen man:

most christian converts in nations with such discrimination as christianity (especially muslim nations), would not ask for governments to intervene.

they'd rather die in their faith than throw a hissyfit.

so yeah, probably best for the us to stay out of it.

you should pick up the book "Jesus Freaks"

pretty interesting read...especially for me. even from a non-religious standpoint you might find it at least interesting.
