Ok, you posting machines. I finally caught up. I slept in a little today. That's why I'm late. I was just tired, and I knew nobody would notice if I was an hour late.
Mk-You win POTD again with your broccoli explanation. Very well done. I laughed more than once.
Ajs & Bizzle- Thanks for the trip reports. You're both donkeys.
Shake- Post some pics of the chips you decided to get. Right now I'm thinking about Paulson's, but like you said, I don't think I want to spend a grand on chips.
I'm sure I'm missing something else, but I don't really give a ****ing. Here's my trip report.
I left work early and got the casino around 3:00. I didn't get a seat until around 4:00 though because there was a wait, and they only had one table open. I actually would have had to wait another thirty minutes or so, but I cheated when someone else didn't respond to their name being called. Sucker.
Anyway, like I said earlier, It was a $200 max $3-$5 blinds nlhe game. It's basically a gold mine if you're patient enough to build your stack up to $500 or more. In the first rotation I get delt 7

5

in MP, and call along with another guy in late position, the button, and the small blind. The BB checks his option and we see a flop of 4

6

8

. I check, the button bets $25, the small blind calls, and then I raise to $75. The button calls and the small blind folds. At this point I only have about $115 left in front of me, and I plan on pushing it in on the turn regardless because I'm not sure precisely what he has and there are too many ways I can outguess myself. There is about $200 in the pot so I just want to take it down. The turn is the 8

, and I push. He insta-calls, and turns up pocket sixes. First buy in down the drain.
I build my second buy in up to around $600 picking up a few decent pots here and there. Nothing very notable. Two pair vs. a smaller to pair. KK vs. a shortstack's AK all in preflop. Things of that nature. At this point I decide to go completely card dead for the last four hours of my session. I picked up absolutely zero decent starting hands, which is saying a lot for me because I play a lot of speculative hands. I'm just getting nothing, and even when I do I miss the flop completely. Anyway, I get whittled down to about $320, and call it a day. I finished my session down $180 because I dumped $100 playing $3-$6 while I waited. Nothing very remarkable. That game is a gold mine though, and I'm heading back Friday and Saturday night. Sorry for this being so long. I know most of you don't care.
Edit: In the first hand, the button had pocket sixes for a boat on the turn. Sorry for the typo.
