Aces Up
Went down to AC this weekend to make alitlte spending money when the following hand came up. I was under the gun and looked down at AA. I made it 12 to go and got called in no less then 6 spots great! Flop comes 10 10 9 with two clubs, not great but i feel like i need to lead and see where I am at. I lead with a 15 dollar bet and of course get called in 3 spots. Well at this point I hate my hand untill a third 10 hits on the turn. I am not sure if i love or hate that card, i decided to lead with 25 and get called in 2 spots yet again. What does the river bring but an A. How do u play the river? i had about 150 left and my 2 opponets had 50 and 75 behind. Pot built up to about 150.

Stick another 25 in there...the two guys calling probably have either a 9 or lower pocket pair. I'm paying off a ten here no matter what...Just moving all-in might scare away a 9 or lower pocket pair. I wouldn't check.

i just want to point out a few things. in ace at a 1-2 nolimit came a 12 bet seems like a good raise but in ac 12 will get a lot of calls. thats seems pretty normal too me but i dont know how your table was. for some reason 17 seems to thin the feild down.

next i think your bet on the flop was to small. the way i read this it there is about $72 in the pot. $15 dollars is not enough to find out where you are at. and you also have to deal with anyone on the flush draw. by no means to you protect you hand from the flush draw by betting 15$. if someone has a flush draw they are calling that every day of the week. so i think you flop bet should of been around the 50 range. but thats just me. hopefully you can take the pot down right there.
which imo i would want two since there is a flush and str8 draw out there. if someone comes over the top you can feel pretty safe about being beat.

so really on the flop you need to make a bigger beat to find out where you are at and and really try to take the hand down then b/c with 6 people in on a draw heavy boared thats what you want to do.

ok now to the turn.

yes here you can feel very good about you hand. honestly i go broke here based on what you say. 25 is a fairly weak bet as will. if someone has a 9 or any other pocket they will most likely call a bigger bet since now on the turn there is 115$ in the pot.

on the turn you got two callers so now there is 165$ in the pot. here i would go ahead and move in for the the bigger stacks 75. because there is 165 in the pot. and if you lose to quads oh well not much you can do. but with the ace on board that could be a scare card but i think you atleast bet 50.

you could check and hope the others move in with weaker hands but i dont like this here because if they have a pp or the nine it might just go check check.

Your bets on the flop and turn were way too small. You raised to $12 and were called in 6 spots, so that means there were 7 of you to the flop. 7x12= $84, and you elect to bet $15 to see where you're at. You're giving like 6:1 on that bet, which makes a call w/ almost any hand right.

Then on the turn you choose to bet $25 into a nearly $130 pot, giving more than 5:1 to proceed with the hand.

I aggree with other posters that you've got to pay off Quad 10s, so I just move in on the end, but you should really re-evaluate how you played the earlier streets.

You must make bets in relation to the size of the pot, giving people such huge odds to draw on you is a HUGE MISTAKE.
