Playing live 2-5 nl. I have $175, villian has me covered. Only been plaing for a few minutes, table seems to be weak loose, ever hand seems to go to the river, often with some marginal holdings.

dealt to Hero A icon_suit_diamond.gif Q icon_suit_heart.gif in BB.

Utg +1 limps, 3 other players call, sb folds Hero raise to $25, UTG +1 calls, all others fold.

flop k icon_suit_heart.gif j icon_suit_heart.gif 10 icon_suit_heart.gif

Hero bets $40, villian calls

Turn 4 icon_suit_club.gif

Hero bets $75, villian raises allin

After the turn bet you only have 35$ left. I'm pretty sure you have to call at that point and hope for the 9 icon_suit_heart.gif at the end.

Calling was automatic, just wondering about the play up to then. In retrospect, the flop bet might of been weak. When the blank fell on the turn, I was essentially going allin, the other $35 was relatively meaningless in terms of his decision.

The question's are

Preflop raise ok?

flop bet appropriate?

Should I have fired the 2nd bullet on the turn?

By the way, I am not saying I lost this pot. Just want everyones opinion of the play. I play a lot of NL tournies, and some cash games. I am just trying to feel my way around the cash game. I tend to play very tight in tournaments, I am not sure how much to loosen up in a cash game.

In this hand I flopped a broadway straight, 2nd nut flush draw and open ended straight flush draw. I am only really completely dead to A icon_suit_heart.gif 9 icon_suit_heart.gif , that is so remote as to not even be a possibility. Against any other holding I am either ahead or have redraws.
