Full Version: Lucky You
Has anyone heard anything about this movie? It looks like it could be good, aside from the fact that Drew Barrymore is in it. Lots of pros including DN involved so hopefully it will be somwhat realistic unlike Tilt. I read that it was supposed to come out in early 2006, but I've yet to see a trailer for it.

I heard it was a piece of $hit
It is being directed by the same guy who did L.A. Confidential so it has that going for it. Unfortunately I am on a no Drew Barrymore diet.

It has Debra Messing and Drew Barrymore in it. How good could it possibly be?
I was going to make some comment about the Poker Movie forum before I realized that it is gone 
I love redheads, so Debra is +EV for me. As far as the poker players involved, they should only tape them playing real poker and use that. They crashed and burned so bad during that Kenny Mayne piece on ESPN with Jeff Gordon, ugh.

i went to watch "faliure to launch" on sunday and a lady was standing outside the movie theatre trying to get people to sighn up for something...i saw her eye me and i did my best to avoid her, she was an agressive lady and caught me right before i could get in the movie theatre...and as i was brushing her off telling her im not intrested, i heard her say "lucky you"...it turns out she was looking for people to sighn up for a private screening of "Lucky You"!!!
she started to give me a brief description to try to make me sighn up, i stopped her as soon as she had started and told her i knew what is about and i want to sighhn up.
its this thusrday, cant wait...

I always thought she was pretty hot in The Wedding Singer but not so great in a bunch of her other movies.
