2/4 Nl on Fcp

Hero is SB with K :icon_suit_spade: 6 :icon_suit_spade:
(stack approx $80-low for the table)

6 limpers, I complete, BB checks.

Flop 6 :icon_suit_diamond: 6 :icon_suit_heart: 7 :icon_suit_club:
4 checks, CO bets 10, Button calls, Hero raises all in for 80...

Ok to make this play here?
I don't mind if I get called, and I wouldn't mind taking the pot
at this point either ~40 or so...

i want action here. i would probably just call but a raise of $25 may also do you well.

For me this is where the min raise is my friend. I would min raise the flop for value. Then virtually always allin on the turn. This does give odds to anyone who may be on a crappy str8 draw. Small risk though.

Nope.

Take it to 30, push any turn..push any re-raise.

curious - why wouldn't yoube concerned about a flopped boat (with 76 or 77) if you got hit back with a re-raise? simply because at that point any re-raise is likely to give us good enough odds to the point where we're pot committed?

its not that i may not be worried but as for myself I would never be able to get away from this hand espeically 2-3 handed. unless another scare card came

Well, naturally, I'm concerned about that.

But, stacks aren't deep enough, from what I can ascertain, for us to figure that out and then make a 'correct' lay down (we'd be offered too nice of a price).

If we got hit back with a re-raise we push, simple as that.

Ok what I suspected.

If we get hit back with a reraise, it's likely to be for all our chips.
At that point the pot would be ~160, giving us slightly better than 3-1 on a call, which is good enough odds with this strong of a hand.

Curious - at what odds would you consider laying down this hand correct? 2-1? Or even less?

None, with these stack sizes.

Hypothetically?

I'd probably lay it down to maybe a 3rd, probably 4th raise on the flop with say, 500 bb's or so.

Ok, thanks for the thoughts DDM. Much appreciated.
