I get J's, flat call, 4 other callers. Flop comes down J-x-x. I check it past, buddy on my left bets 2$, someone calls, the 4th folds and I raise to 4$, buddy calls, other guy folds. Turn comes a blank, uncoordinated board (J high on board). I bet 4$, buddy raises to 8$, I go all-in for about 40$, buddy calls. Cards flip, buddy has pocket K's, but I have a set of J's. River comes a K for his 2 outer and I'm like, "WTF kind of bullshit is that?!?!"
Sickening. What made me cringe even more is that the guy was probably congratulating himself on making such a stellar call.
Anyway, shortly thereafter, I was actually laughing about it and built my way back up to what I tabled and quit for the night. I think I'm handling this bad beat thing a little better these days.
Regards,

You are consistenly an *******, Eddie. A big **** you to you, sir. But, to respond to me thinking it's no big deal when I hit a two outer, you are incorrect. Why? Becasue you're an *******. Also, because, while I'm not a great player, nor am I particularly experienced, I still understand that I hit a two outer and it's like a minor miracle.
Aside from which, this is the Bad Beat forum and I have the right to post my bad beats, which happens to include two outers against me, so shut your ****ing yapper, *******.
PS: You're an *******, Eddie.

I'm an ******* because I didn't accept you callnig me a moron? When you take a swing at someone, do you expect them to not swing back? Be a dirtbag to me and I'll throw it back in your face. Don't like it? Can't take it? Don't be a douche on my posts and everythings good. Until then, stuff it.
On a side note, I was also wondering about ******* getting censored, while other words did not get x'd out. WTF?

"When I got lucky to hit one yourself"???
Sure, I hit two-outters from time to time. Not on the session I described above, though. Did I hit one against you? My point is that this is the BAD BEAT FORUM, and I can post my bad beats here if I like.
I didn't ask for your opinion, all I did was post and tell you you're a dick for being a dick on my thread. Let me quote your first response:

Tell me you're not being a dick and I'll call you a liar. As for my response? So, you got cussed out. Boo-****ing-hoo. Maybe, next time, you should keep your piehole shut.

Hey Mercury, I think what Eddie was saying, and I am not defending anyone, is that preflop you were behind. Then you hit one of your 2 outers to take the lead. Then he hit one of his 2 outers to win.

just to say i agree with what sixhands said that you actually got lucky first as u were behind before the flop and hit your own 2 outer just before he did. No one did raise before the flop though so whoever hits their hand was probably gonna win and you had nuts on flop and were hoping to get paid. The raise by you was was small enough for him to call, but to be honest at these stakes with an overpair i would like to see anyone fold! You got lucky and unlucky but you made the right plays but there was IMO no way he was laying it down. you just gotta take these kinda things on the chin and get on with it. just imagine that the k came on flop he wouldnt have been lucky in your mind but as the j came first you think he is lucky! i know theres a little difference but i try and think like that when i get re-sucked out

I think it's funny that two of you limped with a big wired pair. And then he couldn't find it in himself to re-raise your min. check-raise on the flop. Cute.

OK, I was down pre-flop, but the pot was small at that point. Most of the money went in after the turn had come down and I'd already hit my set. Yes, I got unlucky, but that doesn't mean I can't come and post about it.
Me hitting a two outer on the flop for a made hand is nowhere near as lucky as a guy hitting his with just the one card to come.
I'm not disputing Eddie's point, just the way he "expressed" it.
"Re-suck out"...i'll have to remember that one.

sometimes a little offensive language can put just the right amount of emphasis into a comment.
