Maybe you're right, but I still can't get with these shows. I think CSI sucks too. TV drama is just so poorly written.

I don't know, but it can't be much longer. The new shows are getting pretty stupid. I only watch the old ones. I'll say they probably crank out two more seasons before the sentiment wears thin, and audiences finally see it for what it is.

I've seen both shows. I'm not impressed with either. They're unbelievable most of the time, and sometimes they're just downright ridiculous. Not to mention, CSI is pretty much the same show every single time. They have a format and they stick to it.

Yeah, I'm not a big CSI fan either. Or CSI: Miami.... Or CSI: New York... Or CSI: Wisconsin... but I especially disdain CSI: Bangladesh. LAME.
My roommate loves CSI though. Luckily she knows better, and watches it in her room, while I use the big screen to watch 17 hours of poker and the Food Network every day.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion. While I may agree that CSI can really stretch when it come to believability, Law & Order has consistently been one of the best written shows for a very long time.

I read somewhere that 90% of the equipment used on CSI doesn't exist, or if it does, it would be far too expensive for any criminal lab to purchase/use regularly. But I still like the show. Only the original though...Miami and NY are dumb.

I've only seen a little bit of Law and Order when my girlfriend was watching it so I won't debate you on that one. CSI, on the other hand, is pretty bad as is almost every drama on tv.

That might actually be cooler than Miami. Sick of stories about drunk underage girls going to clubs and getting raped. Show me the aftermath of a gang war in Compton. Show me what happens when you walk to the casino in Inglewood after dark. Now that's TV!

The cast they are going to use for LA is pretty sweet. They introduced them all in the Detective Brass goes to Hollywood episode.

The deaths of main characters this season is stacking up pretty high.
Poor fat hobbit dying in the corner after tossing the ring into the lava (disabling the pc) was a poetic end.
The guard saying goodbye to his daughter was kind of tear jerking, expecially after he was ripping on Samwise about not reporting his card was missing. Gave him a good guilt trip, then took one for the team.
I am not sure Tony is dead yet, he didn't get the silent clock treatment. Maybe just in a coma.
P.S. - This thread needs a sticky too

So everyone from Season 1 is gone except for Jack and Kim right? I think that Chloe was a Season 2 add wasn't she?
Tony now has the big "Deceased" on the Fox Website - thought that they would give him a more heroic death - instead Samwise gets to go out in heroic fashion.
I've read rumors that this might be Keifer's last season also as they want to move next season to Europe with a new lead. Could make sense for Jack to go out in a blaze of Glory (Kim doesn't want anything to do with him and all his friends are dead..)

I can only hope it's her.
Kim's psycologist boyfriend would be a good choice, there is no place for pansies in 24.
I like Curtis, he is pretty much the new Tony on the show anyway. He is a little less edgy, but more intimidating. The way he stared down the guards and told them he was gonna pull his pistol was an awesome moment.

It's a great show, but kind of confusing in that if you miss three episodes you've missed 65% of the cast being killed, replaced, 65% of the new cast killed, and replaced again, not to mention Kim doing something ignorant that almost got her nuked/killed/raped/tortured/kidnapped etc.

I wonder how Jack screwing over the German Intel is going to bite him in the *** later. The Audrey connection seems fishy, but the confrontation between her and Jack next week should be good. Maybe he will shoot her just above the knee cap.
On a more serious note, I wonder what Wayne was trying to get to Pierce and why the VP is trying to kill him.
