UTG raises, button cold calls every one else folds.
flop comes Qh, Jh, 7c.
UTG bets, button calls.
Turn is Qs.
UTG check, button bets, UTG calls.
river is 8s.
UTG bets, button folds.
Please tell me its not just me, and there is no hand UTG could have that makes sense.
Is there ever a time for a line like this?

88? 9-10s?
You didnt specify if this was a good player.

9T is my guess. 88 is possible too.

QQ or AQ played like a retard, first trying to make sure he "doesnt lose any customers" by betting the turn, and then giving up on the "slow play" and donking the river, fearing that he'll check behind.
