Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with [4d], [4h].
1 fold, Hero calls, UTG+2 raises, MP1 calls, 2 folds, CO 3-bets, 2 folds, BB calls, Hero?

CO is donk, BB donk.

not sure i ever call two cold like this but i really wanted too.
Actuary
easy call.

edit to add: this is an easier call than when you first limped.
and I'm not kidding.

Yea, were getting 5.75:1 to call here, with oodles of implied odds since the pot has been raised and re-raised pre-flop.
Absolute
Better question is, do you call if the BB folds?

This is going strictly by what I have heard on this and other boards, but we need about 5 people (including us or not, I'm not sure) in a limped pot to play small pps profitably, correct?

Anyway, we'd be getting 4:75:1 ~ 5:1, in a raised pot, so our implied odds are higher, which I think compensates for the fact that we only have 4 people in the pot.

I think often times we overvalue our implied odds.
I think I would fold if the BB folds unless the game is incredibly loose and aggressive.

Our implied odds are actually lower than they would be if we were limping into an unraised pot, because we're putting in 2 extra bets initially, instead of one (the fact that the pot is larger should help us get paid off more postflop when we hit, but it won't double our payoff).

If the BB had folded, I would fold; if it doesn't get capped, we'd be getting 10-2 pot odds, which I think would probably give us only enough implied odds to break even at best. And it could get capped. (Exception: As Absolute said, if the game is LAGGY, then it's worth a call, because our implied odds will be larger).

With the BB staying, I would call; the 12-2 pot odds (or 16-3, if capped) are enough to make it +EV, I believe.
