Ok... I played at the B/M tonight and since I have a terrible memory, I made a note of two hands that I would post. Even trying to write it down a minute after the hand, I don't remember them 100% correctly, but all the important crap is there. Probably not the most interesting, but worth discussion, maybe... who knows... I'll give it a shot. Both are with Aces.

Hand 1:

Hero is in MP2 with A :icon_suit_spade: Ax

Preflop: A few limpers, Hero Raises, a few calls... we end up 8 handed (live poker is unreal).

Flop: 45Q (2 :icon_suit_spade: s)

BB bets, I raise, BB 3-bets, I cap (a bunch of players came along... maybe 3 more, making it like 5 handed going to the turn. the pot is now BIG)

Turn: K :icon_suit_club:

At this point, I'm talkin to the BB tellin him I'm holding the nuts, we are kinda razzing each other.

It's checked to me, I bet, I get called by BB and UTGish.

River: 6x

BB checks, UTG bets, I call, BB raises, UTG 3-bets, I fold.

Final Pot: Insanely Large

READS: BB is a retard who cold calls with EVERYTHING. He actually thinks he is a good player, but for some reason has reloaded like 10 times. He is quite LAG, at least preflop, and I've seen him be aggressive postflop.

UTG is even worse! Cold calls, calls down with everything. Very passive, unless he has a good hand. He also really really annoys me. He plays there every day and the way he looks just makes me want to punch him. My friend agrees. Not sure if this helps.

ewww.
23 suited?

Can't really give much advice on the hand.

You were getting something like 24:2 to call, and maybe calling 1 more... I fold too, but I don't know how likely these guys are to "make you make pro folds"

So, you're playing 3/6 at the casino?
You're to good of a guy for me to call you out here, so... wink.gif

Is this strategy or is this one of those "yeah, sucks to fold, but congratulations on doing so" posts?

I was concerned when Zach's two hands for us from Casino Night were both AA. I'm guessing there were more "strategy" hands to be shared, albeit less dramatic for OP.

Yeah, I wasn't sure.... it's hard to convey the strategy decisions from a casino to the forum. That is really why I didn't have an interesting hand. My memory is too poor.

In all seriousness, people do ridiculous stuff live, even worse than online, and reads have an UNREAL importance in these hands. I kinda think I should have checked behind on the turn, as I was pretty sure I was way behind given the table talk from the BB.

Anyways... this hand is less interesting than I thought.

The other one has 8 replies... let's see how that one went.

Btw, I'm bringing a friggen pen and notepad tonight, and taking down some actually interesting hands.

You gotta give me a couple weeks to get back on Party. I can't keep putting like 200 in and expecting to play within my roll. Wait till I get my tax refund, and I'm back to how it used to be.

Live pwns right now, anyways. I'm salivating at the chance to play on a Friday night....

Why? It does not matter. We tend to not be results oriented. The idea is to see how we play the hand, not knowing the opponents hand.

We sometimes post the results later. I rarely do, I don't even think about it.

Thanks Zach, I guess you are right, results don't matter. I am impressed with your laydown nevertheless.

That's not impressive. That is an incredibly easy laydown. All I have is a pair... way too much action...
