i called the turn hoping to get overcalls and maybe some extra bets in on the river. After a check/raise and a 3-bet, I feel sick and dont really know what to do.

raise the turn when you first act.

you'd rather get value from trip Q's and other draws, than overcalls.
You are too vulnerable in a multi-way pot that likley gets big

Without Reading Replies:

You called the flop for overcalls right? I think I like a flop raise here more (Although I'm not quite sure what our equity is if we assume someone has trips. Does anyone know how to figure this?

As played, I have no clue how to play the turn.
Actuary
with the bet coming from our immediate right, why would we want to raise the flop?

I don't know. I'm not quite sure what I was thinking.

I definitely raise the turn the first time through. Charge 8c through Ac to see the river, and no one with a Q is folding.

Flop is great.

ok, raise the turn

seeing as i didnt, what do I do now that its 2 back to me?

and what should i do if i raise turn and its 3-bet and capped back to me?
Actuary
as played fold, unless you had read of super donkey-dumb - overplays trips, hell don't they all. But you'll have lots of bets to fade on river, I fold.

Why did the BB open-farrell? sw

Tough call IMHO, donk could have slowplayed a Q on the flop going for overcalls as well, only to be scared by the 3rd flush coming. I tend to raise the turn and since you didn't you're probably best pitching it now since it's 2 bets back. It's a weak holding that's vulnerable the only chance to protect it is raising the flop and since you didn't..
