Any chance of being able to make deals at FCP tourneys?

No, at the moment there is no way to make a deal at an FCP or Network tournament.

Is there even a thought it might be added at some point?

And, while on the topic, what about transferring funds between
accounts? That might solve the dealmaking thing if guys could
just transfer money?

Because of the nature of a Network the only way that dealmaking will ever be a part of the system will be if the Network programs that feature directly into the software and that feature isn't close to being added to my knowledge.

We will be adding the ability to transfer funds via gift certificates in the future but that would be useless for dealmaking since the other player in the tournament you're in might not be playing through FCP.
