Here is a list of where I'll be over the next few months. This is mostly a tournament schedule that I plan on playing as well as any appearances and such that I know of at the moment. Tournaments are in bold:


March 2006:

March 8th: Fly to "Mystery Destination"
March 11th: Return from "Mystery Destination"
March 26th: Fly to Reno, NV.
March 27th: WPT Reno
March 30st: Fly to Las Vegas
March 31st: Fly to Toronto

April 2006:

April 2nd: Fly to London
April 5th: Fly to Foxwoods
April 6th: WPT Foxwoods
April 9th: Fly to Las Vegas
April 11th: WSOP Circuit Ceasers Palace
April 18th: WPT Championship Bellagio

Is the February 17th trip to LA for the WPT LA Poker Classic? I'm planning on going to that, and if anyone knows of good satellites to enter for that event, any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

i'll be in the bahamas dec 25-30 at the "Our Lucya" resort. They have a casino there but i'm not sure if there is a poker room.

Anyone have any info on this?

Daniel, about the Tunica trip. I'm not far from Tunica and thought about driving up there for a couple of days and watching. Then I remembered that since I'm not 21 I probably couldn't even get in to watch, this is correct isn't it?

its looks like you are just really flying in for the WPT and WSOP events. quick question-- if you bust out early, do you normally fly home early or stick around for side action?

I generally book a flight out as soon as I'm done. Any extra time I can spend at home is very valuable to me...

At Commerce they run satellites all day everyday so its easy to find one and they usually range in prices.

Hi Daniel,
Just read your piece in the Toronto Sun and thought it was well done.
One thing however is I didn't think the reporter should have included all of your personal matters, (how you deal with your lose change shall we say).
There are way to many sickos out there that would not think twice about trying to roll you.
I would suggest in the future not to let reporters in on your methods of payment for your entry fees.

Seriously, Daniel, if you are still flying commercial you should consider. If not your own jet, look into "fractional ownership". With all of your trips, you should be flying private. The time savings alone would be worth it.

So you are for sure playing this event now? Previously you had said you were going to skip the Circuit events due to its structure. Since it was fixed, I guess this means you're going, but I just wanted to clarify.

Why are you skipping the Party Poker Million? Is it because March is full of other tournaments?

Hey Daniel do you plan on playing at the WSOP circuit event in New Orleans I will be there, and hopefully playing in the little ol' 500 Limit Hold em tourney on the 21st I believe it is. Would like to see you play in person, haven't got to do that yet.

I hate missing the Party Poker Million, but the WSOP Circuit event takes place here in Vegas... since I'm looking good for WPT Player of the Year I feel like overall it makes more sense to try and qualify for the WSOP $2 million freeroll.

so daniel do you think alot of the pros will be missing the PPM besides yourself?? seems like a logical explanation you gave about the circuit event being in vegas and about the freeroll and stuff. maybe alot of them are thinking along the same lines as you. i would really like to meet some of those guys, but i guess it wouldnt be bad if they weren't at my table either.....

The time savings needs to be quite significant. A flight will range from $50,000-100K and he'll have to pony half a million min. to get started. Better to arrange a special deal in terms of sponsorship and "just" fly business/1st class and book other amenities to ease the aches of travelling.

Unfortunately I think a lot of the top pros backed out of the PPM... well fortunately or unfortunately depending how you want to look at it

I live in Los Angeles and I am going to be at the L.A. Poker Classic and the WSOP Circuit event in San Diego-Rincon, if not at the final table then asking you for an autograph on the Cardplayer that had you as the Player of the Year. Anyway, I saw on your schedule that you will be playing in a tournament on Feb. 7th....what tournament is that.??? I will also be in Vegas Mar. 4-7 for my Wife's Birthday and I just saw that NBC sports is filming their Heads Up Tournament at the Golden Nugget with the top 64 players. Are you playing in that event? (www.headsuppokerchamp.net) they haven't said much on their website on who the 64 contestants are except that they have moneymaker and raymer there (which is another post in itself).

I went to the Bahamas January 7th-14th and stopped into Atlantis a few times. One night I went their and to play some Carribean Poker. I was only going to stay for an hour or so but when I looked to the right, I saw you, your girlfriend and another guy just coming into the Casino. I said "Hey Degreanu!" and you looked over and smiled and said... "Hey"

After 5 mintues of thinking ((I am going to get home and say that I saw Daniel and said Hi and that he said Hi back and none of my Poker buddies would believe me)).

So of I went to try and find you to get a photo Taken. (I has on holidays and carried my camera around everywhere.

To no avail, I didn;t find you to get that photo taken but while trying to hunt you down for a photo, I did happen to bump in all the stars that were hanging out for the Celebrity Golf going on that weekend. Guys like Jordan and Barkley and Wayans and a slue of others....what an amazing time to drop by Atlantis.

Anyway, I know you were there to play in the PokerStars Tourney but I was wondering if you also played in the celebrity Golf tourney there at the country club??

Hey Daniel how come you are not going to play Foxwoods? It is consistantly one of the biggest tournaments on the tournament trail and first last year was $1.5 million.

Only because I committed to playing in the SuperStars. If I don't make the final 16, then I will be able to make Foxwoods last minute.

Daniel, are going to play the WSOP at Ballys/Paris in November?

In that event I hope I don't get to meet you at Foxwoods.

That's great. When I find out the details of your public appearances in T.O., I shall try to be there. Rivoli Classic Pool now has a poker tournament every Tuesday night, and Fox & Fiddle @ Spadina/Bloor has one every Thursday night.

Michael Landsberg could have really used you as the commentator for the Degree Poker Challenge televised on TSN. It was great that 21,000 Canadians tried to get into the $100,000 freeroll, but the poker commentary was the worst I've ever seen in a show.

Are you going to be involved in the next 6-figure freeroll tournament in Canada?
