I have $150.

Villian has about $40

I have J5o in sb and complete, bb checks

FLOP :: J57 :: $2

I bet $2, bb calls.

TURN :: 2 $6

I bet $6, bb calls.

RIVER :: 2 :: $18

I bet $14, bb moves in for $31 total...

First hand bb has raised me, or shown aggression. It was still early though, and I had just taken a nice pot off him with trips.

That river sucks but i still call, you should be ahead enough of the time to make this call profitable. Its a bit suspicious that this is the first time he played back at you but he might be steaming a bit if you took a big pot off him. GL

Yea...I was like..wtf could he have here...hopefully not running deuces..and unless he flopped a better two pair I thought I was good...

i'm obviously not getting responses but he showed AA and I smiled...

i didn't think there was any way i could really fold on this river...and i'm still thinking that.

yeah no way to lay that down. I seem to run into a lot of slow played high pp's at heads up, you finding the same thing? Yeah good luck on getting reponses on heads up play, i used to post hands from HU on 2+2 and i would get a bunch of responses from full ring players calling me an idiot. If you have some more hands feel free to PM them to me and i can respond.

If villain open pushed on the river you'd have no reason to fold.

Given that you already invested 14 into it, it makes it that much of an easier call.

No, I don't see a lot of slow played hi pocket pairs...atleast none that I'm aware of.

But I did run into AA/KK three times in my last three sessions while holding Top pair. That is always a bummer.

Happens I guess...but I'm having a good week, def. playing strongest I have since playing strictly HU...only lost 1/2 a buy in yesterday even though those overpair problems.
