..so what's the guess?

AA

I got it, just in the wrong order.

I thought that the one with AA would have pushed and that KK would have had to "decide" to call or not..but this one was the other way around.

Just weird that people aren't making that play with QQ at 25/50 NL..but they're making it with JJ.

A bit odd.

Well, I guess we have a new rule now. Never call a big all in with JJ. laugh.gif

I think if you really spend a lot of time on your table selection anyone that could beat a 1/2 table could beat a 15/30.

Yah, I thought he overplayed it.

But, he bought in short, which makes it tough.

He was pretty well priced in, by the time he called--but I think AQ or AK are probably just smooth calling his re-raise there and not pushing.

I think AQ probably even lays it down, really. Full ring, that kinda pressure, I'm probably droppin' AQ there, certainly not pushing it.

Just somethin' to chew on.

AND WHY THE FUCK DID THIS GET MOVED TO STRATEGY?

IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FUCKING STRATEGY--DON'T BOTHER THEM WITH IT

QUIT MOVING FUCKING POSTS WHERE THEY DON'T BELONG AND THEN LEAVE FUCKING STUPID POSTS OPEN AND WALLOWING IN THEIR OWN FUCKING STUPIDITY IN GENERAL.

Christ, I'm gonna move to 2+2 full time, pretty quick.

but I've learnt so much from this thread - like what not to do with a pair of 4s pre-flop icon_doh.gif

....and here I am trying to figure out "and I can learn what from this?" bubble_lol.gif
TheKingOfAces
DD, the funniest thing happened after reading your thread the other day. I was playing a $.50/$1.00 NLHE ring game(Pacific), and early on a player got his stack in preflop with KK against AA. After the results(losing), he says something like "I knew I should've folded there."

So about two orbits later, I pick up KK under the gun and limp. A few players limp behind and the SB raises to 4xbb. The BB calls, and I raise to 16xBB. A few folds, button goes all-in for about 70xbb. (pot is about $96-97, $54 to call) Blinds fold, I call.

FLOP : 737
TURN : A
RIVER : 3

What did my opponent have?

Opponent shows 3 :icon_suit_club: 4 :icon_suit_diamond: for a full house, threes full of sevens.

After the results(losing), I typed into chat "I knew I should've folded there."
