Hey Daniel,
I've been watching High Stakes poker and have been amazed and appalled by the beats you have taken, but nothing was more appalling than Bob Stupak on your repeat "naked nut flush bluff" against F. Deeb. I really think Stupak owes you 79k ...I really think he's what caused the call and little else - from what I saw (I know there is editing) I think his hand he didnt show was 2 spades (since he wasnt playing just taking up space...he folded) when you made your river bet - he slammed his money and reacted totally out of line (as if he folded the spades ) then he made the comment "cause he's trying to win it right here" to Deeb then he got up and steamed away,...Then to add insult to injury he comes back and starts talking about calling the clock - to push a decision - We both know the longer Deeb took , the less likely a call.....In short I'm sorry and what a jerk!

I have a small problem with the above post. While i do agree what Stupak did was wrong, you have to remember that all of these guys play with each other every day. I play in a local bar 5 4 nights a week, and am startled by how similar the banter is on High stakes poker and my bar game.
whatever

The relativity of all these sessions are sickening. You have won and lost more in one session then I will make in 8 years of my current 40 hour a week job. Crimeny!

The reason I decided to add a post is so that it highlights the forum from the lobby. This way, people know that there is something new in here since the last time they checked.

Just a question here:
Does it concern you that almost all of yours wins are under 100k, while your losses are over 200k - even though the wins are more frequent than the losses? Or is it just cards being cards?

Have you been playing the side games during the series this year. I read David Benyamine was winner to the tune of like 20 Million already. Is that even possible?
Are there any new players to the big game? Any online players taking the jump?

Just curious.
When you see Daniels Tournament results, he actually do post his buy in, his result and his profit or deficit on each tournament.
In cash games, buy in does not matter much, since they play with a cap of 100,000 $ per person per pot in the cash games, or in case of a straddle a cap of 150,000 $ per person per pot. You can pretty easily assume, that Daniel always is capable of matching the cap. You can as easily assume, that Daniel will not dry out in the game on the small side of 2 mio$ (based on his reported lows in his games).
But if you think of joining the game, I am not sure, but I think you can join for a minimum of 50,000 $ - Daniel will have to confirm this.

I was just wondering how much he initially buys in a limit game, and also wanted to know how many times he rebuys in a tournament.
Basically what I'm curious about is how deep into his pockets he digs.
I've heard rumors of alot of rebuys in highstakes tournies.
I'm pretty sure they are just rumors but they sound plausible with his money.
Like the one I heard about half a dozen rebuys in one tournament at $11 grand a pop.

Danny new to the forums and i love it. I've read you for about a year now i finally know what your talking about. I have seen how much your hourly rate is (and it's pretty good i might add) but what is your hourly rate in tournaments and outside of playing for tv time and prestige is it really worth your time to play in tourney's.

Not news my friend. And I have posted my entry both under tournaments- and under cashgame results. Daniel did pretty bad in tournaments after his posting. For instance, he spend 49,000$ at a 1,000$ tourney, using 48 rebuys.
So my question is why does daniel not like to present his negative results for us. And what does that in general suggest about the psychology of poker
