Hero has AA in mp+3
No reads on any opponents, just arrived at the table.
Hero raises, sb cold calls, bb 3-bets, hero caps, sb calls, bb calls
FLOP: 3s 7s Qc
sb checks, bb bets, hero raises, sb cold calls, bb 3-bets, hero caps, sb calls, bb calls
Turn: Kd
sb checks, bb bets, hero?
What's your play here? Raise? Call down?
Edit: Fixed the action

sb cold calls, sb 3-bets
Man, I wish I could call and then raise liek that. That's hella-tricky.
I'd show it down most of the time unless SB wakes here and it ends up two cold back to me.
good luck.

Definitely worth showing down.
BB could be pulling the 3-bet preflop with a wide variety of hands given you are in a steal position, close anyways, probably a little bit narrower of a range because of the SB calling though.
Flop tells me he has at least a Q. Could be QQ, AQ, KQ, or KK, AA, or even AK, if he's aggressive.
Basically, you are probably in a wa/wb situation, although I'm still not really good at figuring out when to apply that line. I highly doubt he leads out on the K turn with AQ. AK is possible here. KQ is also possible, leaving you with just 5 outs to beat. QQ, KK, you are drawing to 2 outs, and AK, he is drawing to 2 outs. Does this seem to warrant the call down?
Does my range make sense? I'm tired, so I could be waaaaay off on this one.
I'm trying to figure out about calling two cold if we needed to on the turn, for some reason, since Smash mentioned it. We probably aren't good here enough, especially with the SB waking up out of nowhere, if that happened.
Anyways, I have no idea what I'm talkin about anymore...

Call-call.
I also think you should have called the flop 3-bet and popped the turn.

Are you still raising the turn with the King coming on the turn with your plan?

Don't we have more than 5 outs against KQ? 3 7's, 3 3's and 2 A's for 8 outs? or are you discounting some of these b/c they might give Sb trips? because I don't think he's staying in there with a pair of 7s or 3s, atleast not without a read and this much action.

No.
I'm calling down and praying for AQ.

Ok cool, I still don't particularly like this line though with another player in the pot. With another player in the pot, I want to charge that other player the maximum right away if they're behind in the hand.

I know what you mean.
But really, what do you beat here?
When your chances of having the best hand are slim, calling down is ok because youre not protecting your hand, you're protecting your opponents.
Edit: raising the turn is alright if you plan to fold to a 3-bet or a river donk. I'd rather see sd in this spot though.

I'm talking about the flop play of not capping it and waiting for the turn to do it.
As far as calling down or raising the turn, I thought it was an easy decision to call down. Raising the turn is ok if you're willing to fold to a 3-bet, but I can't really bring myself to fold AA here, so I'd rather show it down for the same price.
I felt I was definitely behind and don't expect to win with AA very often, but calling down is still right given the circumstances. Fortunately I was able to river an Ace and go 4 bets on the river

when to raise turn in in that pos is always an interesting question.
how much can you increase you winning chances if 3rd guy folds
how likely are you to get 3 bet
how likely are you already ahead
how likely are you to draw out
how likely are you to get river donked
how likley are your opponents to draw out
how likely is 3rd to be folding for 1 anyway
HOW BIG IS THE POT....
it's what i love about poker.

Yeah, definetly pop the turn if you call the flop 3-bet.

If I had just called the 3-bet on the flop, I'm definitely planning on raising a blank turn, but I think it's better to just cap the flop here with another player in the pot.

I think I mentioned I was tired... and quite possibly high. I didn't discount, I just can't add.

The play was fine pre-flop and on the flop.
The turn: fold or call. The K could mean alot of trouble. Maybe K-Qs for BB. What is the deal with SB? He has just quietly called all this action. Prepare for him to have a monster unless he is a donk; reads would be helpful. I would prob call and see what SB does. If he raises I'm out. If he calls, then re-evaluate on the river.
What do you do if it gets checked around to you on the river?
