Yes, though I've never lived with him like Wrto has. I've met him and found him to be a good guy. To me, he has been a great friend. It's unfortunate to hear things about people that I consider friends (and at the time, I was telling everyone what I knew...which was the truth), but I've spoken with Wrto, have the upmost (utmost?) respect for him, and will believe him until I can talk to Jayson about it.

It wasn't intended as a flame but more as a wake up call. I'm seriously tired of this guy (and others) being all over Custom's ass all the time. If you have a legitimate complaint, that's one thing but this incessant name calling and condescenion is just stupid, petty, and childish. There was no reason to take this there.

Actually, I never told the army about this. Believe it or not, they can find other threads all by themselves. They're (the army) sticking up for me because they're my friends. Maybe you don't have that luxury, I don't know.

Re: Your 2nd paragraph - Go back and read it again. The very first thing quoted in this very string is a condescending shot at the army. We all know who he was talking about. Custom doesn't whine about general in the army thread. Everybody in Off Topic as a whole whines about General because General IS stupid. I'd venture to say 75% of the posters on this site believe General is stupid. Don't single Custom out for that.

Calling me an idiot isn't really offensive (well, it is, but that's not the rule I was going for). It's aggressive behavior towards another member that's breaking the rule. Calling someone an idiot is different than talking about anal sex. Anal sex is something that's done for pleasure and that isn't done to anger or insult people. It's done as an expression of love between two people. Calling someone, especially a moderator, an idiot likely isn't an expression of love. Anyone would be offended by being called an idiot...only the ignorant would be offended by an explanation of anal sex.

Can't really see your reasoning there. You're offended by somebody you don't know calling you an idiot over the internet, but you can't see how anybody might be offended by reading a detailed description of anal sex? How is it ignorant to be offended by a description of a sexual act? These arguments just seem flawed to me.

With regards to what is and what isn't offensive - A graphic description of making a PB&J sandwich could be offensive to someone. It's a judgement call. The post you are referring to regarding anal sex was neither graphic nor offensive. In fact, it was quite text book like.

Those women need to stop being so uptight (no pun intended). There were about 3 pages of requests in the army thread for me to describe why anyone would want to have anal sex and what happens during the course of it. So, I obliged by giving them a description.

The line of reasoning is that by calling someone an idiot, you are degrading and insulting them. You're using this aggressive behavior with the intention of offending them (malice).

By describing anal sex to those that ask for a description, I am informing people who may be ignorant of the act of the biological reasons that some men enjoy anal sex. There is no malice. Nobody is trying to insult or offend anyone. It's a factual discussion.
