I'd be curious to hear Daniels thoughts on how he played that hand with Eli, sounded like he know what Eli had and still put it all in ? Also, wanting to run that twice when he's 3-1 seemed a bit odd, especially after turning down Sammy to run it twice earlier when DN was way ahead ?(although Sammy got there)

Funny to see how well respected Sheikan is at the poker table, Matusow hates him, Todd Brunson thinks he is a idiot, Elezra says, he play like he's "a little dull", Farha is very annoyed about him, accuses him of stealing his chips and tells him to "read some books about poker" which makes everybody at the table to laugh out loud at him, etc.

The third big pot I played I wasn't the favorite going in, but I played the hand correctly nonetheless. Eli limped, Sammy made it $2600 from the button and I called as did Eli.

The flop came 10-8-6 with two spades and I fired out $5000. Eli made it $15,000 and had about $70,000 more behind him. There were a lot of hands I could beat at this point and felt very strongly that he didn't have a set or a straight. Worst case scenario was two pair, as far as I was concerned.

I stuck the rest in and Eli called with 6-8. We decided to "run it twice," meaning, that we would have two different turn and river cards. If you won twice, you win the whole pot, win once, and you split the pot.

On the first go, Eli won the hand with his two pair. On the second deal, I turned an ace which meant we'd be chopping the pot unless an 8 or a 6 came... *sigh* it was an 8.

So far, it seems to me that Daniel is getting slaughtered in this game due to some tough beats. So far Ive seen three 100,000+ pots that Daniel has lost (one to Eli, one to Farha, and one to Greenstein). Does anyone know his total loss for the game so far? Seems like he is playing pretty well but has lost a few big pots on oudraws. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Sammy telling Shawn to not ever touch his chips was a classic. I love the vibe that Farha brings to the table, definitely right in line with Daniels. They both look like ther are having fun when it looks like Barry is trying to pass a kidney stone.

I lost several other hands on the river. but feel like I played just awesome overall. I felt like I was in complete control of the table and if I didn't get unlucky I would have booked a nice win. Oh well, it's not the short term results that matter, seriously, it's all about making the right decisions. I don't think anyone played better than me today, but in the end I lost $214,400. does anyone know which codec I need? I'm using windows media player 10 and it's saying there was an error downloading codec when I go to play it. I can hear the audio, but not see the video... Oh, and I don't have a clue about any of this stuff, so please go easy on me. I was proud of my self for just figuring out how to get the file in the first place...

That was hilarious. Also, that 214k, is that how much Daniel lost the entire show or just Day 1? Anyone know what he ended up winning/losing after the show was done?

This is easily the best poker show ever. I think it would be so sick if they filmed the big game and showed that on TV. That's one thing i would definitely pay money to see.

It's already up, I just downloaded episode 4 this morning.

How long is it taking people to download this? I have a fast connection and im looking at 15 hours.

What you need to know:

1. Download a mac-compatible bittorret client (I use Azureus).

3. Go to one of the many torrent sites out there (piratebay.org, isohunt.com, mininova.org, etc.), search for the torrent you want (e.g. "poker" as a key word), and download the torrent onto your desktop (or wherever).

4. Drag and drop the torrent onto Azureus. It will ask you where you want the file saved and then it will start dowloading the file. When the file is completely downloaded, the best and most versatile app to watch it on is MPlayer:

It's all pretty simple. The only complicated part can come if you are getting slow download speeds and need to open specific ports in your firewall; also, check out here for tweaking the prefs for the best speeds:

More than you probably want to know:

The way it works is that your computer will start dowloading the file from a myriad of other computers in the network. As soon as you start downloading it, you will immediately begin uploading parts of that same file to other users, so that the more people simultaneously sharing a file the faster it should go. When someone has downloaded an entire file and is continuing to upload, they are known as a "seeder," and will be offered a bevy of chocolate covered virgins in the afterlife. The more seeders, the faster the downloading for everyone. Those who are still downloading are known as "leechers" or "peers." It's considered good form and great karma to leave the file up after you've downloaded the full file and upload at least as much as you've downloaded (you can see your share ratio on the part part of the Azureus screen).

That's about all I know and care to know except that it's a fkking brilliant way to get large files: movies, tv shows, music and what have you. My girlfriend says it's a great way to get a ton of free porn as well, and that there are sites out there devoted to nothing but smut torrents, but what would I know about that...
