i don't think i should have bet the river.
my when villain capped the turn was bet/call river, but i didn't consider what i'd do if a Q or an A came. no i think check/call is where it's at.

The only plausible hands that beat you are AA, QQ, or AQ, and there aren't many combinations of those left out there.
I bet/call the river, I think. I like the way you played it, although he prolly has AQ or AA.
Boat over boat sucks.

If he's playing AK that aggressive, he's going to bet the river if checked to anyways. But he'll rarely raise with worse hands.
I think that the only reasonable hand that you want to bet the river against is A8.

That's a good point.
So are you saying c/c the river?

I'd probably bet/call too.
But in hindsight, i'd start to question it given what we can narrow his hand range down to.

What about the check on the flop? What if the re raiser checks behind with 1010, or JJ....?

I don't like the river bet, you've check raised him twice and he hasnt slowed down.

I pretty sure the button will continuation bet here 95% of the time. Giving a free card would suck, but its highly unlikely unless the button is super passive.

Yeah C/C here def. seems like the right play unless hes hyper aggressive with top pair but knowing me I'd bet/call just out of frustration when I see that river

I have to disagree. i'll bet out on the river, and call a raise. 6 handed players overplay half decent hands like maniacs, this is too good a hand not to at least bet out with on the river. The problem is all his play suggest he has you beat, but 6 handed im still willing to bet out on the river... but i am very aggressive when i hit a hand. intersting discussion though.

I like the way you played it. Let's bet/call. If he raises, well that sucks. But he may not bet w/ AK, a very likely holding, but he will almost defintely call our bet with it. It seems very possible he could hold A

X

A hand that would also likely call our river bet.
