I think I got the name of him right. I don't pay much attention but I think he made the songs "Rompe" and " Gasoline" and he's latin. Seriously, his songs consist of about 10 words and he just keeps repeating the same thing over and over again. He takes the art of repetition to a level never before seen. I mean just when you think he's going to say something different, "rompe rompe rompe rompe . break it down... rompe rompe rompe rompe " "rompe rompe rompe rompe"
Lets say Kurt Cobain just made Nevermind last year, I doubt Daddy Yankee gets a recording contract at all. We must seriously be pretty desperate for some new stuff. Not only that but every month MTV does a little 2 min. News story on some new upcoming acts that MIGHT make it some day. Man, the music execs must be sweating bullets.
